Explore the intersection of health, climate change, and sustainability at Semmelweis’s Green University Day
27/08/2025
Organized by the Semmelweis Student Union, this international event will bring together about 1,000 participants to explore the intersection of health, climate change, and sustainability.
The day will include a range of thought-provoking presentations, such as:
- “Climate Change and Health – How Can We Adapt?” by Gabriella Sódar (Blue Planet Foundation),
- “Sustainable University – What Is Our Role?” by experts from Semmelweis,
- and “Being Nature’s Ally – Small Steps Toward Big Change” by Prof. Dr. Maria Tengö (Wageningen University & Research).
In addition to the presentations, the event will feature networking spaces and opportunities to learn more about how students and institutions can take action for a greener future.
Please note that the program and list of speakers are still being finalized.
While attendance is free of charge, participants are kindly requested to cover their own travel and accommodation costs.
