HR Excellence in Research shows the attractiveness of universities as academic employers for researchers from all over the world to further develop the European research area.

The HR Excellence in Research is an award given out by the European Commission to reward universities that meet the requirements within ethics and professionalism in recruitment and HR selection processes. Other important factors are work conditions, social security, education and career development. In order to be eligible for the award universities need to implement the European Charter for Researchers and Guideline for Recruitment of Researchers.

Professor Anne-Charlotte Larsson (Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Internalisation and Innovation at Linnaeus University) underlines the importance of the HR Excellence award for Linneaus University to attract researchers and show the capabilities of LNU as an academic employer. Linnaeus University will follow up on this and further develop work environment and HR questions.
