Transatlantic Cooperation

Well-being knows no borders. EUniWell is building connections between universities, researchers, educators, and students across Europe – and beyond. By sharing ideas, learning from different perspectives, and working together, we are exploring how we can shape the future of well-being together.

A key example of this work is our partnership with Teachers College, Columbia University. Since 2023, EUniWell and Teachers College have been working at the intersection of well-being and education, bringing European and North American perspectives into dialogue and creating new opportunities for research, learning, and collaboration.

From joint workshops and research exchange to lectures and new initiatives, the partnership is turning dialogue into action. A major milestone was the first EUniWell–Teachers College transatlantic conference, held in New York in February 2026, which brought together more than 200 participants from research, education, policy, and practice.

The collaboration reflects a shared belief that well-being can be a powerful bridge between people, disciplines, and societies. By connecting knowledge and experience across continents, EUniWell is contributing to education and research that can contribute to healthier, more inclusive, and sustainable communities.

And the journey continues. This work is part of EUniWell’s wider international outlook. We are continuing to expand our international network and develop new partnerships beyond Europe, creating opportunities for exchange, co-creation, and joint action with institutions and communities in different parts of the world.

Together, we are building bridges and shaping a global community of well-being.
