Introduction to everyday Chinese and cultural references to better understand the culture
Course description
Are you curious or passionate about Chinese language and culture? Are you looking for a linguistic and cultural break? This MOOC will introduce you to everyday Chinese and give you a few linguistic keys and cultural references to better understand the culture.
The course focuses on fundamental knowledge of the Chinese language based on simple oral and written tasks referenced in level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Alongside this language training, this MOOC emphasises the importance of cultural knowledge, essential in intercultural communication.
Schedule
50 hours of classes in total.
The course is divided into 10 weeks, containing 4 to 5 sessions and requiring about 5 hours of study per week; however, it is a self-paced program, and students are free to adapt the pace of studies to their needs.
Requirements
Learners should have the following language knowledge:
• French B1
Students must register on the Fun-Mooc platform to access the course content. Enrolment on Fun-Mooc is free and open to all.
