An introduction to the role of psychology in society
Course description
The course introduces students to the role of psychology in society, focusing on people's quality of life, health, community and cultural diversity.
Psychological and social perspectives on multicultural societies are central, including ethnic groups. Emphasis is placed on professional understanding of interaction at the micro and macro level.
Students will get an overview of different working methods in cultural and community psychology. The course will contribute to reflection and action competence in meeting modern, multicultural societies and the needs of the population.
