Call for ideas “Imagine the future of Universities!”
The EUniWell Alliance, composed of nine European universities, works to increase the well-being of students by putting sustainable development challenges at the heart of its activities.
For this purpose, EUniWell is launching a Call for Ideas especially dedicated to students to find solutions to reduce the carbon footprint of universities both at local and European levels. The aim is to better understand students’ expectations and wishes surrounding making our universities more sustainable and responsible.
You, the students, are invited to propose ideas or projects that will contribute to reducing the carbon footprint of universities by filling in the this form by Sunday 16 October 23:59 (CEST). The form is very short and simple - so go ahead, submit your idea and help us find solutions for the future of universities!
The winners of the call will have the opportunity to meet up with students from all EUniWell universities during the first EUniWell Sustainability Forum, taking place at Nantes Université from 15-18 November during the next edition of the Nantes Université Sustainability Week Festival.
The students who submit winning ideas will participate in a hackathon aimed at setting up local projects, which will help us reduce the carbon footprint of our universities. Students will also visit Nantes Université Green Campus and will have the opportunity to take part in numerous events organised during the NU Sustainability Week Festival.
Participating students will also be full members of the “EUniWell Green Students Community”.
The costs for travel, accommodation and meals will be covered by EUniWell.
