EUniWell’s initiative for the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2025 call launched
As part of our dedication to fostering academic partnerships, we are excited to invite eligible researchers to take part in the 2025 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA PF), which are supported by a €274.63 million budget. These fellowships, funded by the European Commission, are a prestigious opportunity to support postdoctoral researchers in developing their research and academic careers.
The first step is to find a hosting supervisor — someone who is interested in guiding a postdoctoral researcher at their institution. Applicants should explore offers in their field of interest and reach out to potential supervisors.Once a researcher and supervisor connect, they will work together to develop a joint research proposal. This proposal should outline the research goals, methods, expected results, and a career development plan for the researcher. Both the researcher and the supervisor will contribute their expertise to make the proposal as strong and competitive as possible.
If selected, the researcher will carry out their fellowship at the supervisor’s institution. This experience will allow them to dive deeply into their research while taking advantage of the host institution’s resources and academic environment. The fellowship also offers a chance to gain new skills, expand professional networks, and enhance career prospects.
The MSCA PF encourages interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration. Researchers are supported in stepping out of their comfort zones and working with both academic and non-academic partners. This enriches their experience, fosters innovation, and encourages the sharing of knowledge across different fields. Ultimately, the MSCA PF is more than just funding—it’s a powerful platform for growth, collaboration, and impactful research that benefits both individuals and society.
Eligibility criteria
To apply for the MSCA PF with a hosting supervisor, researchers must meet the following conditions:
- Deadline for the MSCA PF 2025 Call: 10 September 2025

Only nationals or long-term residents of these countries can apply. - Disciplines: All disciplines are eligible, including research areas covered by the Euratom Research and Training Programme.

EUniWell’s supporting initiative
In line with EUniWell’s vision, we have devised a protocol to streamline the process of connecting researchers with supervisors, thereby enhancing the potential for successful applications. The links to the hosting offers from supervisors belonging to each EUniWell participating institution have been published under the Employment Opportunities section on our website. This section will be further updated with more offers becoming available soon.
If you find an offer of your interest, please contact the supervisor directly, paying attention to the supervisor’s own deadline to receive applications. Supervisors will then review applications and choose the most promising candidates to co-author the MSCA PF proposals.
By getting involved, you contribute to the larger narrative of research excellence and collaboration that defines EUniWell. Your active participation is crucial to this initiative’s success. Together, we can ignite the spark of innovation and continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in academia, with well-being at the core of our work.
