FestiWell 2022: 2 to 13 May 2022

FestiWell ‘22

“Towards global sustainable well-being”

From 2-13 May 2022 the European University for Well-Being will be hosting its 2nd annual FestiWell. Under the title “Towards global sustainable well-being”, the 9-day event will explore with students, researchers, academic and university staff from all EUniWell partner institutions one of the great challenges of the present: how to set the course for a sustainable future in which we can live together with well-being.

FestiWell ‘22 is organised around sustainability and well-being as an interconnected core theme and asks, among other things, about climate justice and the social dimensions of an effective sustainability transition, about the connection between cities and rural areas or how education and training systems can contribute to sustainable development. These topics are framed by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.

FestiWell aims to open the academic inner circle to transdisciplinary exchange as well the wider public. Therefore, all interested parties are invited to come together for a sustainable, well-being-oriented future. From 2-13 May 2022, seven of the eight EUniWell partner universities will organise one FestiWell day as part of the programme. As the new, eighth EUniWell partner, the University of Murcia will be represented in the opening session on the first FestiWell day as well as in the joint events for Europe Day.
