Fields of Action
With its holistic approach to well-being and our proven excellent and complementary expertise in areas like health, climate change, urbanity, languages and civilisations, digital humanities, circular economy and sustainable practices, social equality, education, or artificial intelligence, EUniWell aims to further boost cutting-edge research and teaching related to well-being to sensibly impact on society and to position and establish itself as the world-leading European University for Well-Being.
EUniWell Arenas
EUniWell revolves around five key priority topics related to well-being; the EUniWell Arenas. These research and teaching arenas are reflected in the five thematic work packages that are placed at the heart of EUniWell’s activity.
Arenas are network formats with lean hierarchies where researchers, managers, and students from multidisciplinary backgrounds collaborate co-creatively on a dedicated topic. This format reflects EUniWell’s willingness to work collaboratively in diverse, interdisciplinary, and international teams. Each Arena is closely linked to specific UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to academic fields in which EUniWell’s institutions have invaluable expertise.
At present, EUniWell focuses on five Arenas, where its institutions are leaders in both research and teaching, where the strengths and synergies of its universities are strongest, and where EUniWell can have the most significant impact.
