Course description

This blended intensive programme examines migration across the Mediterranean through an interdisciplinary approach combining history, law, geography and cultural analysis. It focuses on asylum and refugee protection, border practices and institutional frameworks, while situating contemporary movements within longer historical trajectories. Through online preparatory sessions and an intensive on-site week in Paris, participants engage in seminars, workshops, institutional visits and field-based activities.

Schedule

The programme includes online preparatory sessions, followed by a five-day in-person session in Paris. The on-site component combines lectures, seminars, workshops, institutional visits and cultural activities.
