Course description
This course examines contemporary topics in psychoneuro-immunology (PNI), placing particular emphasis on the effects of stress on immune, neural, and endocrine interactions.
Students will explore foundational and cutting-edge research on how psychological stress can influence immune functioning and contribute to health and disease. The curriculum will cover mechanisms that connect the brain and immune system, the biological pathways of stress, and the implications for mental and physical health, supported by current research.
