Social Media Literacy for Use in Schools and Teacher Training - OER

Course description

This collection consists of four interactive Open Educational Resources (OERs) designed to build comprehensive social media literacy skills for use in schools and teacher training. The resources are practical and future-oriented, enabling pre- and in-service teachers, teacher students and teacher educators to engage critically, creatively, and responsibly with digital and social media environments. The OERs are designed as self-paced learning modules that can be completed independently and flexibly. Each course within the set stands alone, allowing learners to engage with the topics in any order according to their individual needs and interests, making them adaptable for diverse educational contexts and schedules. All modules are available in English, with some also offered in additional languages such as German, French, Spanish, and Galician.
