Writing for a health literacy homepage
Promote a community approach to the latest health concepts in order to improve health literacy
Course description
Writing posts on the English language Data_Spirit_Health health literacy platform developed and maintained by the department staff on a weekly basis and analysing the reactions to the posts twice during the semester. The portal develops literature summaries on six topics, mainly for the 16-28 age group.
The themes are Self, Physical, Community, Connection, Fun Facts, Health Tech. The aim is to promote a community approach to the latest health concepts in order to improve health literacy.
We recommend using artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT 4o, Claude, DeepL and Adobe Firefly to create posts. A written guide for the use of these tools is available, and regular consultations with the faculty members in charge of the programme provide guidance on their use.
It is recommended that post topics are selected from the Medscape literature aggregation portal, where a daily newsletter can be set up by sorting by subject area.
