The results are in! 11 projects selected for funding under the 10th EUniWell Seed Funding Call
With the selection of its 10th round of funded projects, the EUniWell Seed Funding Programme continues to strengthen collaboration across our Alliance. Since its launch, the programme has enabled researchers, educators, and innovators from across the EUniWell universities to develop joint ideas that contribute to well-being in all its dimensions.
Starting on 1 September 2026, 11 new projects will begin their work, bringing together partners from across the Alliance to advance research, education, and innovation on well-being. The selected projects reflect the collaborative spirit of EUniWell, with every member university represented in at least one project. This funding round also marks an important milestone for our newest Alliance member, the Medical University of Warsaw, which will coordinate a Seed Funding project for the first time.
Interest in this year's call was once again exceptionally high. Nearly 70 project proposals were submitted, making the selection process highly competitive and highlighting the remarkable quality and diversity of ideas emerging from within our Alliance.
We are looking forward to seeing these new collaborations develop over the coming months and are confident that the selected projects will grow from promising ideas into lasting partnerships that create meaningful impact for well-being across Europe.
The selected projects under the 10th EUniWell Seed Funding Call
The 11 projects are:
- AHL-WELL will implement a pilot of a well-being-first laboratory culture for archaeological and cultural heritage laboratories.
- BluEquity is a research project developing a methodology for profiling maritime and coastal communities with an emphasis on socio-economic factors.
- GAVTS aims to create a Gender Affirmative Vocal Therapy Scale, measuring progress and impact on transgender communities across Europe.
- GREEN-FUTURES will carry out a mixed methods study, analyzing students’ sustainability oriented professional identities.
- HEALTH-WISE will buildan initiative to reduce burnout, strengthen patient safety and cyber hygiene amongst medical and nursing students.
- IMITI-AMR-OH will conduct research investigating yeast-bacteria interactions and microbiome modulation to combat antimicrobial resistance.
- MULTI-WELL is creatinga study of language assessment practices in multilingual children and possible correlation to their well-being
- NARRAGE is a research project, exploring how literary narratives of ageing are interpreted across different cultural contexts.
- NIMRI-CERV will conduct research on the development of biopolymer-based nanostructures.
- SBS-CAREJUST is an interdisciplinary project,lookingat Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) focussingon medical practices and judicial responses.
- SENSE-WELL is a student-led research project on sensory characteristics of university spaces and their relation to student well-being.
