Course description

As part of the #Research initiative, FAIR Data Training aims to lay the foundations for a scalable training programme on RDM (Research Data Management) and FAIR data principles for the EUniWell alliance. To achieve this, tools and know-how have been gathered and developed for existing and future RDM trainers to strengthen and improve existing training provision, to encourage the development of new training provision, and to encourage further collaboration between the Alliance partners on training.

The FAIR Data Training materials are now available on OSF.

On the OSF site you can find an overview of RDM-training courses open to all members of the alliance, audio-visual e-learning units about how to develop audio-visual teaching materials, and a collection of methodical and didactic materials helpful for a range of teaching situations. These resources are intended to be beginner-friendly, resource-efficient, and learning platform independent to maximise future reusability and adaptability. They are intended to support the development of new RDM training offerings or to improve existing ones. To maximise reuse, open file formats have been used wherever possible, and the training materials and resources used during the development process are also available. As Open Educational Resources (OER), these training materials are available under a CC-BY licence to allow reuse, remix and update.

We encourage you to comment, discuss and share your views on the materials, your teaching experiences and your own training provision. We are also interested to hear how we can improve FAIR Data Training and what you would like to see in the future.
