Course description
The conference is divided into two study days dedicated to the theme of “Plurilingual practices and intercomprehension in the professional sphere.” The first day is a symposium and will be a reflection on the theme in the form of presentations aimed at sharing theoretical and methodological approaches, experiences, and projects. The focus will be on plurilingual practices in the world of work.
The second day will be a training day dedicated to university staff, in particular administrative staff working in offices dedicated to inclusion, internationalization, and similar areas (in particular EUniWell staff, UniFi staff, and anyone else who may be interested). The real training will take place on the second day and will be more practical. We will do three groups (2 Romance languages and 1 Germanic languages).
The training will be plurilingual. Knowing two Romance or Germanic languages would be perfect (there will be two groups).
Requirements
Priority will be given to candidates:
- who are involved in creating an intercomprehension course focusing on Romance or Germanic languages within the context of the EUniWell Consortium (Work Package 5: Culture, Multilingualism and Wellbeing)
- who have a B1/B2 level in at least two Romance or two Germanic languages
- who are motivated by their professional development
