Course description
A one-week blended week focused on Bilingualism/Multilingualism in the Classroom, to enable student teachers and academics to observe and exchange teaching practices and develop vision and resources for teaching bilingual children and young people.
This will build on the previous successful Multilingualism in Schools week hosted at UoB: https://www.euniwell.eu/news-events/article/euniwell-study-week-on-multilingualism-in-the-classroom in October 2024.
The week will allow for participants to experience our campus, the city, and expert practice from leading academics and expert practitioners. We will explore policy around teaching multilingual pupils; multilingualism and its practical provision across the partner countries, expanding perspectives, sharing best practices and enabling critical reflection.

Requirements
The priority will be given to 3rd year Bachelor's or Master's students, studying Teacher Education at EUniWell partner institutions, with a B2 level in English.
