Nantes Université
Nantes Université is a higher education and research institute that offers a unique, globally-ranked university model in France. It brings together a university organised into faculties, three ‘grandes écoles’ (Centrale Nantes, École des Beaux-Arts Nantes Saint-Nazaire, and École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Nantes), a university hospital (CHU de Nantes), a technological research institute (IRT Jules Verne), and a national research body (Inserm).

- Health of the future: This key area of research draws on the expertise of 12 Nantes Université laboratories, totalling 780 teacher-researchers, and reveals the scientific excellence of Nantes Université in three major areas of academic research: innovative biotherapies, oncology-related therapies and nuclear medicine, and precision medicine. In terms of innovation, three areas stand out: early diagnosis tools for predictive medicine, new therapeutic strategies, health, and nutrition and well-being.
- Industry of the future: This key area of research draws on the expertise of 7 Nantes Université laboratories, with a total of 620 teacher-researchers, 15 platforms and over 100 equipment, and showcases the scientific excellence of Nantes Université through five major areas of academic research: advanced production technologies, digitalisation of companies, performance of industrial organisation, low-carbon industry, the place of human in industry.
