for Researchers online

Join the EUniWell Research Training Academy on Stress-Resilience, to learn how to keep a healthier balance between academic responsibilities and your mental well-being. The full-day workshop takes place online, on 2 May 2024. Apply by 3 April and learn how to manage stress in an academic setting.

This image shows a person giving a presentation to a group. There is a colourful bubble with the hashtag #Research visible, suggesting that the course is related to the EUniWell #Research project. The atmosphere appears to be professional and educational.

The Stress-Resilience workshop offers you the opportunity to reflect about the main sources of pressure and strain that you encounter and to identify strategies to deal with them. Participants learn about triggers and consequences of stress and how your personal resilience can be strengthened. The focus lies on three dimensions of stress-resilience: instrumental (i.e. time-management), mental (i.e. dealing with perfectionism), and regenerative (i.e. leisure time and breaks). The central goal is that you get concrete strategies and tools that support you in keeping a good balance between productivity and self-care.

The workshop takes place online via Zoom on 2 May 2024. from 9:00 - 17:00 CEST / 8:00 - 16:00 BST.

Seminar contents:

  • Resilience as anti-stress competence
  • Stressors in academia
  • Mechanisms of stress emergence and consequences of stress
  • 3 Pillars of stress-resilience
  • Transfer: Personal opportunities for increasing resilience and preventing stress

Please note: Our training programme is designed for the interaction of the participants. Comparable to classroom seminars, we ask you to turn on your camera during online events for an exchange at eye level.
