Semmelweis University is proud to be part of EUniWell, a European University Alliance that aims to strengthen cross-institution strategic partnership so that the international competitiveness of European higher education is much enhanced.

Semmelweis University is pleased to inform you that, following the successful launch of EUniWell last fall, on 15 April 2021 Semmelweis University is hosting the "EUniWell: Hello Hungary!" Online Conference. This will be the very first event showcasing the professional activities of Semmelweis University within the European University for Well-being, emphasizing the wide-ranging opportunities this Alliance has to offer by facilitating educational and research collaboration between the partner universities.

Semmelweis University invites you to the EUniWell: Hello Hungary! Online Conference on 15 April 2021, between 16.00 – 18.00 CET.

The conference will be opened by Dr. László Palkovics, Minister for Innovation and Technology, Hungary, Dr. Béla Merkely, Rector of Semmelweis University, and Dr. Beatrix Busse, Chief Development Officer of EUniWell.

During the event, the potential benefits of the EUniWell-membership and the winning projects of the latest EUniWell Seed Funding Call involving Semmelweis University will be presented.

Hungarian and international experts will discuss the future of European Higher Education in a roundtable discussion, focusing on hot topics such as:


• What role do European University Alliances play in shaping the future of European Higher Education? 

• What are the expectations of Hungarian Higher Education within the European University Initiatives? 

• What can the European University Alliances actually do for developing a competitive European Education Area and European Research Area?

The conference will be organised in the form of a Zoom Webinar in English.
