Join our next virtual Open Science Meet-up on 1 July, focusing on a cross-disciplinary introduction to Research Data Centers (RDC), KonsortSWD/NFDI4Society and Sensitive Data Management. The event will take place from 09:00 to 09:45 (CEST) on Zoom.

The image shows a pastel-blue Open Science Meet-Up flyer. The text reads: “Beyond the Data: Understanding Research Data Centers (RDCs) in the German RDM Landscape—A Cross-Disciplinary Introduction to RDCs, KonsortSWD/NFDI4Society, and Sensitive Data Management.” The date and time of the event are listed at the bottom.

Research Data Centers (RDC) are a key element of the German data management landscape. This meet-up offers an introduction to RDCs in Germany – ideal for researchers, data managers, and interdisciplinary practitioners from diverse fields and countries. The talk gives an overview about what an RDC is, what services it provides, and how it fits into the broader German research data infrastructure. Furthermore, examples of services such as the RDC-net and QualidataNet developed and provided to support RDCs in providing and improving their services will be given. After the talk, we are happy to respond to any questions you may have and to exchange experiences on all things RDC. Everyone is invited – no registration required.
