The next EUniWell Open Science Meet-Up will take place on 23 October from 14:00 to 14:45 (CET) via Zoom. The session will focus on Open Access Information, Networking and Training: The open-access.network Community. The open-access.network platform serves as Germany’s central portal on open access, offering resources in German and English for researchers, students, and anyone interested in the topic.

Funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) since 2018, the project will see its current funding end in 2025. To ensure its continuation, the team is establishing an association – open-access.network e.V. – while also exploring options for renewed public support.

In this Meet-Up, Dr. Martina Benz, coordinator of open-access.network, will present the platform’s sustainability concept, highlight measures already implemented, and provide an outlook on its future. Following the talk, participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and network around open access.

The Meet-Up is open to all and requires no prior registration.
