On April 30, from 14:00 to 14:45 (CET), the next Open Science Meet-Up will take place on Zoom. The topic is: Open Science Helpdesks.

Open Science-related contact points are crucial for implementing Open Science-related practices. It is important that especially researchers have somewhere to turn to for questions and advice with, among other things, research data and (open access) publications. In this meet-up, Doctor Maximilian Müller, staff member of the University of Konstanz Team Open Science and data steward at NFDI4BIOIMAGE, a consortium of Germany’s national research data infrastructure dedicated to microscopy- and bioimage-related data, will outline what Open Science Helpdesks are about before elaborating on how they work and how they can be used. Doing so, he will draw on experiences revolving around the University of Konstanz’ DataHelpdesk and NFDI4BIOIMAGE’s Community Help Desk.
