The PhD Scientific Days Conference 2025 returns this summer from 7–9 July in Budapest, offering a premier stage for the next generation of scientific minds. Join us on-site at Semmelweis University for this dynamic three-day event and apply now until 15 June to be part of it!

Hosted by Semmelweis University in the heart of Budapest, the PhD Scientific Days bring together PhD students from across Europe for a deep dive into groundbreaking research, cross-disciplinary dialogue, and meaningful academic exchange. Whether you are defending your dissertation or just starting your PhD journey, this is your moment to present your work, connect with like-minded peers, and spark new collaborations that could shape your future.

  • An international EUniWell workshop designed only for PhD students from EUniWell member universities.

 The registration is free for all PhD students.

Abstract submission: The call for abstracts is open until 15 June. Please submit your abstract directly to Fanni Matyasovski at matyasovski.fanni.sara[at]semmelweis.hu 

Participation fee and funding: Participation in Semmelweis PhD Scientific Days is free of charge for selected applicants from the listed EUniWell member universities. Selected EUniWell participants can receive funding to cover their travel and accommodation costs. The organisers will provide an admission response to all applicants and the selected students will be informed about receiving EUniWell funding.

Please note that funded participation at the event has a limited number of spots. Each eligible EUniWell member university has an equal number of seats. If applications exceed capacity, a waiting list may be implemented. In any case, you will be informed whether the applicants are on the main list or on the waiting list.
