Course description

The program presents a variety of activities (in presence) to develop basic skills in sustainability and sustainable development. The activities are designed in an integrated manner, involving Green Office of University of Florence and “Laboratorio Didattico Ambientale della Città Metropolitana” (Villa Demidoff) in the area focusing on sustainability. All activities are supported by Professors, PhD students, and Researchers. The main goal of the event is preparing future professionals to address sustainability challenges in innovative and creative ways. Through participatory methodologies such as World Café, Metaplan, workshops, and outdoor education experiences participants will be able to understand and articulate the concepts of sustainability and sustainable development. They will understand the role of education and training in cultivating a sustainability-oriented mindset, including values, beliefs and worldviews.
