Course description

Health is increasingly understood not merely as the absence of disease but as a dynamic state of well-being shaped by biological, social and environmental factors. The Future of Well-Being: One Health Perspectives and Co-Creationsummer school offers an interdisciplinary and participatory learning experience grounded in the One Health approach. Over four intensive days, participants will explore contemporary challenges of health and well-being through expert lectures, student-led sessions and co-creative workshops. The programme integrates medical, social and environmental perspectives while emphasising participatory methodologies, equity and community engagement. By combining theoretical inputs with hands-on, collaborative learning formats, the summer school enables participants to critically reflect on complex health challenges and to co-create innovative, socially responsive solutions. The course fosters dialogue across disciplines, institutions and generations, strengthening collaboration within the EUniWell Alliance and empowering participants to contribute to the well-being of individuals and societies.
